Seniormost HoR Member KC to take oath from President

Kathmandu, March 22: The seniormost Member of the House of Representatives (HoR) Arjunnarsingh KC is scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy from President Ramchandra Paudel.     

According to the Office of the President, KC would take the oath of office from the President at 11:15 am on Wednesday at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas.     

The newly-elected HoR Member KC would run the HoR business in the capacity of the Speaker of the HoR until the election for the Speaker.     

KC, 78, who was elected under the proportional representation system from the Nepali Congress (NC) in the March 5 HoR elections, will administer the oath of office to 274 other HoR Members in the Federal Parliament Building on March 26.(RSS)
