Kathmandu, March 22: The APF Club defeated the Bagmati Province in the PM cup one-day men's national cricket match on Sunday.
The APF Club defeated the Bagmati Province with 71 runs in the match played at Mulpani Cricket Ground, Kathmandu.
The Bagmati Province chased the target of 272 runs but lost all wickets at 45.1 overs. It was limited to 200 runs. For Bagmati, Bibek Magar made 34 runs, Uttam Magar 26 runs, Subash Khatri 27 runs and Rijan Dhakal unbeaten 20 runs.
For APF, Asif Shek made highest runs, 141, while Sandip Jora made 52 runs, Lokesh Bam 29 runs, Yubraj Khatri unbeaten 26 runs and captain Rohit Paudel nine runs.
In the match begun from Saturday, there are three departmental teams- the Nepal Police Club, the Tribhuvan Army Club and the Nepal APF Club- and seven provinces. The winner team will bag Rs 1 million and the first runner up Rs 500 thousands.(RSS)
