Kathmandu, March 22: Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen Shraddha Shrestha has unveiled progress of her ministry during 100 days of since assuming office.
She released the achievement gained from December 12, 2025-March 22, 2026. According to the report, important initiatives for policy-level, institutional and service-delivery reforms were started.
The Ministry made remarkable achievement in governance, gender equality and social justice sectors in 100 days.
Minister Shrestha shared that priority was given for policy-level reforms and structural strengthening, public service delivery and targeted achievements, participation in international offices and diplomatic visits, election-focused coordination and increased participation, distribution of service-assistance materials, monitoring and evaluation and strengthening statistics system.
Draft of Human Trafficking and Smuggling (Control) (Second amendment) Regulation, 2082 and implementation of the draft of the action plan for implementation of National Child Policy, 2080 were prepared.
Similarly, draft for National Action Plan on Gender Based Violence and draft of the guidelines on dignified menstruation have been prepared.
The Ministry also launched 'Digital Service Delivery System' in order to make activities of Social Welfare Council fair, transparent and effective.(RSS)
