caused damage to nearly two dozen private houses and public infrastructure.
Bed Prasad Gautam, DSP and chief of Taplejung
district police office, said loss of property due to storm is estimated to be
Rs. 7.5 million and that Sidingawa Rural Municipality was the worst hit in the storm on Monday.

mill here, said ward chair Purna Bahadur Limbu.

in ward 3 has also been blown away while roof of straw-roofed houses of Biraj
Idhingo and Ratna Bahadur Idingo at Yangrakhapa in ward 5 has also been blown
away.
According to Amar Bahadur Limbu, ward chair of Sidingwa
rural municipality-5, a local of Limbudin Tika Rai's house has been damaged as
the storm fell Simal and Bar trees on to their house.
