20 arrested in drug-related incidents including two Indian nationals at TIA

Kathmandu, March 17: Two Indian nationals were arrested with 3.160 grammes of cannabis-like substance at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) last night after arriving from Bangkok on a Nepal Airlines flight.

In a separate incident, one person was arrested with brown sugar from Nagdhunga, Chandragiri Municipality-2, according to the Central Police newsroom.

Additionally, arrests were made from various areas. One was arrested from Belauri Municipality-6 in Kanchanpur; three from Sadakghat, Pipalchautra in the same municipality; two from Ward No. 8; and one from Bhimdatta Municipality-11.

Likewise, two individuals were detained with brown sugar from Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-7 in Bardiya; two from Baiyabehadi, Dhangadhi Metropolitan City-2; three from Trinagar; two from Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality-6 in Rupandehi; and one from Baglung Bus Park in Pokhara Metropolitan City-2.
