Market monitoring of cooking gas in Sunsari

Inaruwa (Sunsari), March 16: The District Administration Office, Sunsari has conducted a market monitoring of cooking gas.

Monitoring committee coordinator Krishna Subedi informed that the market monitoring was conducted in response to the complaints of black marketing of cooking gas. The team inspected five cooking gas outlets. 

Vice Chairman of the Association of Industry and Commerce in the district, Giriraj Atal, informed that there was no shortage of cooking gas as the supply was regular. 

The monitoring team consisted of representatives from the District Administration Office, District Police Office, business entities and consumers' groups. 

The district authority has reminded the cooking gas producers, traders and consumers not to stock the essential fuel but ensure regular supply and consumption in a transparent manner. If any dealers were found violating the direction, they would be brought to book, warned Chief District Officer, Ghanashyam Neupane. (RSS)
