Gorkha road mishap: Death toll rises to seven with eight injuries

Gorkha, March 15: The total number of deaths in the Gorkha micro bus accident reached seven with eight others injured, police confirmed. 

Seven people died on the spot when a micro bus plunged 200 meters off the road at Kantar of Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-3 in Gorkha district this evening.

The microbus with registration plate number Ba Pra 01-006 Kha 8430 was carrying passengers who were returning after offering worship at the Manakamana Temple.

Superintendent of Police Bharat Bahadur BK, the Head of the District Police Office in Gorkha, said five men and two women died in the accident. 

Superintendent of Police BK stated that all eight injured passengers were rushed to the Aanbukhaireni Hospital in Tanahun.(RSS)
