Kathmandu, March 14: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has warned of action on those involved in black marketeering of LP gas, diesel and petrol by creating the artificial shortage.
The KMC has stated that it has formed a surveillance mechanism after it received several complaints on artificial shortage of fuels, according to the Administration Chief of the KMC, Mahesh Kafle.
"We will book those creating public life uncomfortable by charging high on fuels by disseminating wrong information on shortage of the cooking gas," Kafle added.
He has also urged the business people to supply the half-filled LP gas cylinder at Rs 955 and the consumers not to pay high than the set price.
Kafle stated that hoarding of cooking gas for the fear of its shortage also created its shortfall in the market.
The KMC has urged one and all to discharge their responsibility to maintain demand and supply chain of the cooking gas.(RSS)
