Woman found dead on bank of Mahakali
Dasharathchand (Baitadi), March 13: A woman has been found dead on the bank of the Mahakali River in Dharinghat, Jhulgahat, Dasharathchand Municipality-8 of Baitadi district.
According to Suraj Singh, police inspector and spokesperson of the District Police Office, the deceased is Deepa Mahar, 38, from India, who had been residing at Dashrathchand Municipality-8 in Baitadi, her birthplace.
Inspector Singh said the dead body of Mahar was found on Thursday morning and it has been kept at the district hospital for autopsy. The police have stated that an investigation into the incident is ongoing. (RSS)
