Vice-Chair Gole decides to utilize salary, allowance for social work

Lalitpur, March 9: Vice-Chairperson of Mahankal rural municipality in the district, Dolma Maya Gole, has announced that she would utilize her salary and allowance for social works.

Issuing a message on the occasion of the International Women's Day, Gole shared that her monthly salary and allowance now onwards would be spent for senior citizens, disabled persons, women, farmers, teachers, youths and health volunteers as well as other communities as support.

Even the vehicle she uses would be mobilized for easing movement of senior citizens, disabled persons and other needy ones visiting the municipality and ward offices, according to her.  

Gole shared, "Specially the senior citizens who have been facing difficulties to reach bank to draw allowance would benefit from the vehicle service. The needy people can receive vehicle service after coordinating with women and children section at the rural municipality office."

She showed readiness to ensure such facility to the senior citizens. The Vice Chairperson viewed she took such decision as per the commitment towards people's service and social responsibility. (RSS)
