Election successful in promoting effective governance: Home Minister Aryal

Kathmandu, March 8: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal emphasized that effective governance was maintained by the House of Representatives elections of 2082.

In a statement to government media following the election security assessment held today at the Election Commission office in Bahadur Bhawan, he remarked that this success was achieved based on the understanding that electoral good governance serves as the cornerstone of political good governance.     

There were no cases of proxy voting in this election, and all government bodies worked in a coordinated manner to ensure the election took place as scheduled. The Ministry of Home Affairs exhibited collective leadership, and the election was well-coordinated. Efforts were implemented under a comprehensive integrated security strategy from the central to the provincial and ward levels, and the election was concluded by decentralizing leadership," he stated.     

On the occasion, Home Minister Aryal expressed gratitude to the Commission for its crucial role in ensuring the election was completed according to the established timeline.(RSS)
