RSP's Karki elected from Morang-3

Belbari (Morang), March 8: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Ganesh Karki has been elected a member of parliament from Morang-3.

According to the final results announced this morning, he won by securing 36,924 votes. His nearest competitor, Nepali Congress candidate Sunil Kumar Sharma received 24,354 votes, according to the Office of the Returning Officer.

Sram Sankriti Party candidate Amir Magar received 16,509 votes and CPN (UML)'s Iran Rai received 7,752 votes. Out of 158,057 total voters in the constituency, 96,677 votes were cast.(RSS)
