Dr. Karki of RSP elected from Lalitpur-3

Patan (Lalitpur), March 7: Dr. Tosima Karki, representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has secured victory in Lalitpur Constituency No. 3.     

Chief Election Officer Punaram Khanal announced that she garnered 43,096 votes. Her closest rival, Jitendra Kumar Shrestha from the Nepali Congress, obtained 9,045 votes, while Rajkaji Maharjan from the Nepali Communist Party received 6,022 votes.     

Among the 102,436 registered voters in Lalitpur–3, a total of 69,391 votes were cast. The election saw participation from 20 candidates across various political parties and independent candidates. (RSS)
