President Lamichhane's commitment to work as per people's sentiment

Chitwan, March 7: President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, has expressed his commitment to work according to the people's aspiration and sentiment.

Speaking briefly to journalists after receiving his certificate of victory from the Chief Returning Officer after being elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Chitwan Constituency No. 2, Lamichhane said that he would work with a focus on nation building.

Stating that it is not easy to fulfill the responsibility bestowed upon to the party by the people, he said that differing opinions shall be respected. "We should not get overwhelmed but work with restraint. We should not belittle the opposition and we should respect different opinions in a democracy." (RSS)
