Time to fulfill people's aspiration: Ranju Darshana

Kathmandu, March 6: Newly elected member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from constituency no 1 of Kathmandu, Ranju Darshana Neupane, said time has come to fulfill people's aspiration.     

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Darshana viewed the victory brought happiness and challenges both, so people's aspiration must be kept in account.     

Talking briefly to media after being elected a member of HoR on Friday, Darshana argued that people articulated their aspiration for change in response to the betrayal they faced for three decades. "There are both happiness and challenges before us. We must deliver now," she underlined.     

She extended thanks to her voters of constituency no 1 in Kathmandu. It is the victory of alternative and conscious politics. The RSP has taken it significantly, according to her.     

For her victory, she got 15,455 votes. Darshana was handed over the victory certificate by the chief election officer on Friday itself. Her nearest rival Prabal Thapa Chhetri of the Nepali Congress was left behind with a huge margin of 9,091 votes.(RSS)
