47% vote cast in capital, 33% turnout nationwide
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, March 5: The Election Commission (EC) has said that about 33 per cent voter turnout for the election of the House of representatives recorded across the nation as of 2 PM.
The EC also said that the voter turnout in Kathmandu Valley recorded 47 per cent as on 2.0 pm.
According to EC voter turnout thus far 32 per cent in Koshi Province, 32 per cent in Madhesh Province, 34 per cent in Bagmati, 39 per cent in Gandaki Province, 29 per cent in Lumbini, 36 per cent in Karnali Province, 33 per cent in Sudurpaschim Province.
The EC informed that out of the total 1,89,03,689 voters, 62,20,42 voters have cast their vote.
