Teenager found dead inside her home in Humla

By Nanda Singh, Humla, Feb.23: A teenage girl has been found dead in a hanging position at Dandaphaya of Simkot Rural Municipality-7, Humla.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shankar Khadka of the District Police Office, Humla, 17-year-old Nisha Sunar was found hanging at around 11 PM on Sunday night.

 Police said she was discovered hanging inside her own home.

A police team led by Police Inspector Jang Bahadur Singh reached the scene and transported the body to the District Hospital in Simkot, the district headquarters.

 An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of her death.

DSP Khadka said that the cause of the incident is yet to be determined.  

As the deceased girl’s parents are currently outside the district, they have requested that a post-mortem examination not be conducted until they arrive.
