Central Security Committee meeting underway at Home Ministry

Kathmandu, Feb 21: A meeting of the Central Security Committee is currently taking place at the Ministry of Home Affairs, addressing pressing national issues, overall peace and security situation, and matters related to the upcoming elections set for March 5.     

The meeting is led by Central Security Committee Chairman and Home Minister, Om Prakash Aryal, with participation from senior officials of all four security bodies.     

The discussions during the meeting focused on security challenges associated with the elections, particularly in the Tarai-Madhes region.     

The Ministry of Home Affairs has stated that necessary decisions will be made following a thorough discussion of the relevant issues.(RSS)
