By Bishnu Prasad Pokharel, Damak, Feb 9: Voters in Kamal Rural Municipality of Jhapa have raised questions about development plans with senior RSP leader Balen Shah, who is currently on a door-to-door campaign.
On Monday, while campaigning in Kamal Rural Municipality, Shah said that his party would bring all development plans by the first week of Nepali month Falgun (February).
“We are here to listen to the people and understand their feelings,” he said.
“We went to Taplejung in eastern Nepal, reached Khotang, and today we are here. Since problems and demands differ from place to place, we will prepare plans accordingly,” Shah said. “Even those without money should have access to healthcare and education and those with money should be able to do business.”
Locals presented issues related to development, land ownership certificates, and cadastral maps to Shah. In most places, residents raised various questions and concerns.
Members of Shah’s secretariat said that all questions and demands are being noted and will be addressed collectively.
