Kathmandu, Feb 8: Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal has shared that the organization of strategic conference is significant for capable and strong police organization.
Inaugurating the Nepal Police Strategic Conference-2082 today, Minister Aryal expressed the belief that such conference would play supportive role to boost the morale of police, who are logistically and mentally weak due to Gen Z movement.
He underscored that such conference would help make police organization as per general people's expectation, adding there would be support and cooperation of the Home Ministry to move ahead by incorporating suggestions and opinions from the conference.
The Home Minister argued that there would be extensive discussion on the problems seen in issue management and mobilization of police in the conference.
Similarly, Inspector General of Police, Dan Bahadur Karki, opined that such type of conference would be helpful to control different types of crime taking place in the country in recent period along with the use of technology.
"The country and society are becoming complex due to organised crime, cybercrime and crimes taking place in international level along with traditional crime. An extensive discussion will be held to control such crime," he argued.
The conference is organised to gather thematic expert's suggestions and opinions to control crimes taking place in the society, Karki added.
Discussion would be held on different types of crime that take place in the society and measures to control such crimes in the two-day conference, shared Nepal Police Headquarters. (RSS)
