Finance Minister assures adequate resource for smooth election

Myagdi, Feb 4: Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal has said no works relating to upcoming election would face obstruction for lack of resource.     

He directed all concerned government officials in the district headquarters not to worry over financial resources for the management of the House of Representatives election slated for March 5. "Be confident and prepare accordingly," he asked the officials from security agencies, administration, office of chief returning officer and election office here Wednesday.     

The Finance Minister reminded that it was government's responsibility to take together all political parties to hold the HoR election in a free, fair and calm atmosphere.     

The district officials informed Minister Khanal on the preparations like voting centres, booth management, security persons and mobilization, and number of voters.
