In his message, the President said Christmas, celebrated on December 25 to mark the birth of Jesus Christ, is observed in Nepal as a religious and cultural festival through various programmes across the country. He said the festival carries spiritual guidance rooted in love, forgiveness, kindness and peace.

“This festival inspires us to strengthen humanity, equality and service, while promoting social unity, good conduct and brotherhood,” said President Paudel.
