Deuba, Oli hold first meeting after Gen-Z movement

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 6: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli held talks on Friday afternoon. According to Oli’s secretariat, the meeting held at Deuba’s residence in Maharajgunj focused on the current political situation.

Oli’s press adviser, Ram Sharan Bajgain, said the two discussed contemporary political issues, including the possible restoration of Parliament. Deuba’s spouse, Dr. Arzu Rana, and Oli’s wife, Radhika Shakya, were also present at the meeting.

Bajgain added that this was likely the first informal meeting between the two former prime ministers since they were ousted from power following the Gen-Z movement on September 9.
