All-party meeting to discuss polls today

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 5: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called an all-party meeting for Friday to create a conducive environment for the upcoming elections.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar. 

Prime Minister’s Press Secretary, Ram Bahadur Rawal confirmed that the meeting will be attended by representatives from the government, the five major political parties, the Election Commission, and heads of security bodies.

Invitations have been extended to representatives of the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), the Election Commission, and heads of security agencies, read a statement of the PM’s secretariat.
