Last rites of Dr Ram Narayan Sah performed

Kathmandu, Dec 1: The last rites of late Dr Ram Narayan Sah were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat as per the Vedic traditions on Monday. 

Sah, the father of the Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balendra Sah, died at the Civil Service Hospital in Kathmandu while receiving treatment on Monday. Sah was a diabetic patient and was also suffering from urine infections.

Communications Minister Jagadish Kharel, Energy Minister Kulman Ghising and Minister for Youths and Sports Bablu Gupta, former minister Rajendra Mahato, and a large number of people from different walks of life were present at Pashupati Aryaghat to pay last tributes to Sah.   

Sah served as the Managing Director of Singhadurbar Vaidhyakhana and the Director of the Ayurveda Department. (RSS)
