Book 'Foundations of People's Multi-Party Democracy' launched today

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 1: The book, 'The Foundations of People's Multi-Party Democracy' written by Rajendra Gautam, has been made public today. Gautam is the head of the Publicity Department of the CPN-UML, and a  member of the Standing Committee of the CPN (UML).

Party leaders, including UML Deputy General Secretary and former Minister of Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, launched the book amid a program organized by Press Chautari, Nepal, here today. 

The author of the book, Leader Gautam, said that the book provides a basis for readers who want to understand the people's leader Madan Bhandari, closely and study his thoughts.

Writer Gautam said that the book attempts to clarify the biography, personality of public leader Madan Bhandari. 

He said that Bhadari was such a leader who emphasized increasing the critical awareness of party leaders and cadres; however, the party has not yet succeeded in creating such an environment.

The book consists of 154 pages, including a cover page. 

There was a presence of intellectuals, party leaders, and distinguished guests at the book launch ceremony.
