By Avinash Chaudhary, Dhangadhi, Dec 1: Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal has taken stock of the Nepal-India Trinagar-Gauriphanta border checkpoint in Kailali.
He arrived in Dhangadhi today to address a provincial-level security seminar to be held in Dhangadhi on Tuesday and inspected the border checkpoint.
Aryal was accompanied by the chief of the security agency, the joint secretary of the ministry, and the under secretary, who reached the border checkpoint.
A security seminar is being organized in Dhangadhi tomorrow to present a report on behalf of the provincial government on the objective situation of security in the province, problems and challenges, crime control, border security, and the upcoming elections.
Information Officer of Chief District Office, Kailali, Shiva Raj Joshi, said that Secretary of Home Affairs Rameshwar Dangal, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki,
Lieutenant General of Nepali Army Pradeep Jung KC, and director of the National Investigation Department (NID), Tekendra Karki, have reached Dhangadhi to attend the seminar.
