Mayor Balen bereaved by father's death

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 1: Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah has suffered a bereavement. His father, Ram Narayan Shah, an Ayurvedic physician, passed away a short while ago at Civil Hospital in New Baneshwor.
"Dr Ram Narayan Shah died in the course of treatment at the Civil Hospital in New Baneshwor," said the Director of Civil Hospital, Dr Mohan Chandra Regmi.
He said, " Dr Shah was put on a ventilator at the Civil Hospital on Sunday morning. He died this morning."
Dr Regmi said that the infection spread throughout the body following a urinary tract infection.
Dr Shah was a diabetic patient.
