HoR Elections on March 5: Comms Minister Kharel

Charikot, Nov 24: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel has instructed the public office heads here to create a favourable atmosphere for the election, saying that the election to the House of Representatives will be held as announced on March 5.

At a program held at the District Coordination Committee meeting hall here today, he instructed them to work to dispel the doubt about the elections, as the government is creating an environment conducive for the elections.

Minister Kharel said, "All necessary preparations are being made for the election. Work is underway to mobilize necessary resources and human personnel."

He urged civil servants, political parties, security agencies and election offices not to have any doubts over the election and urged all office heads to also pay attention to regular service delivery so that the people do not have any complaints.

Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Risal said that work is ongoing to monitor the polling stations and understand the state of affairs in the perspective of the upcoming elections. (RSS)
