Additional five thousand voters enlisted in Dang

By Lila Dhar Oli, Ghorahi, Nov 21: Around five thousand voters have been registered in the Dang district for the election of the House of the Representatives to be held on March 5.

The Election Office has registered additional 5,282 new voters in the duration of 26 September and 21 November. 

The Information Officer of the Provincial Election Office, Dang, Gehendra Kanwar, informed that out of the total 5,282 new voters, 2,917 are male and 2,365 are female.

The new voters enlisted are from young generation.

According to Kanwar, 422 males and 201 females who have registered their names in voter list of Dang belong to the outer district. 

Also, more than 1,300 voters have applied for making correction in the mistake in the voter list. 

According to Kanwar, a total of 393 male and 611 females have applied for migration and 192 males and 91 females have applied for making correction of mistakes in the voter roll.
