Additional 4,500 new voters enlisted in Lamjung

By Nabin Raj Kuikel, Lamjung, Nov 23: Around 4,500 additional voters have been registered in the Lamjung district for the election of the House of Representatives to be held on March 5.

The information officer of the Province Election Office, Lamjung, Bhuminarayan Paudel, informed that 4,531 additional voters have been registered for the election.

He informed that 1,457 voters visited the election office in person to get enrolled while 3,074 got enlisted through National ID (NID).  

According to, the Chief of the District Election Office, Lamjung, Yadavraj Acharya, 904 male voters and 553 female voters have registered their name from the District Election Office.  

The timeline to get registered name in the voters list was extended to 21 November. 

The office said that the newly enlisted are young voters.
