12th International Physiotherapy Conference concludes

Kathmandu, Nov 23: The 12th International Physiotherapy Conference 2025 organised by the Nepal Physiotherapy Association (NEPTA) has been successfully concluded.

NEPTA stated that the conference, held in Kathmandu on November 21 and 22, is the largest international physiotherapy event held in Nepal.

More than 450 physiotherapists, rehabilitation professionals, doctors and healthcare workers participated in the conference.

NEPTA president Samid Katila Shrestha said that the main objective of the conference was to coordinate and cooperate among various health stakeholders in the prevention, control, public awareness and rehabilitation of non-communicable diseases.

He informed that at the conference, workshops, group discussions and scientific presentations were conducted on non-communicable diseases including stroke and neurological problems, back pain/orthopedic issues, heart diseases, and rehabilitation of cancer patients.

The conference had the participation from seven different countries along with representatives from Nepal. (RSS)
