By TRN Online , Rolpa, Nov 21: Scholarships have been provided to 51 students from a perpetual fund established in the memory of parents.
The scholarships worth Rs 1 lakh were distributed to 51 students in a program organized at Arniko Secondary School in Nuwagaun, Rolpa,.
The scholarships were handed out by the founders of the perpetual fund, Jibaraj Budha Magar and Amrit Bahadur Budha Magar, along with the school’s founding Principal Kulananda Giri, School Management Committee Chairperson Kabiraj Budha, and current principal Ganesh Kumar Gharti Magar, among others.
Jibaraj Budha Magar, born in Triveni Rural Municipality-2, Nuwagaun, Rolpa, and currently residing in Texas, USA, together with his wife Yashika Batha Magar, and Amrit Budha Magar of Nuwagaun, Rolpa, now living in Ghorahi, Dang, with his wife Deepa Budha Magar, established the Indra-Mai-Dal Perpetual Fund worth NPR 501,151 at Arniko Secondary School, where they had studied, in memory of their parents, in-laws, and uncles.
From the interest generated by this fund, scholarships were awarded to 51 diligent, underprivileged, and academically excellent students from grades 1 to 12.
