By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Oct. 15: Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal has warned that the current government is formed after a revolution, and no one should engage in unnecessary talk or confusion.
While breaking the hunger strike of a young activist, Madan Budha, at Maitighar Mandala on Tuesday, Minister Aryal emphasised that the government’s actions to hold corrupt individuals accountable should not be hindered by arguments that such actions would disturb the election environment.
Minister Aryal stated, “This is a post-revolution government. No one should be confused. Those who are talking unnecessarily may themselves be confused. This is a revolutionary government formed after the revolution. It cannot be claimed that the government cannot investigate corruption, maintain peace and security, or that elections would be disrupted. This government will conduct elections while also working to root out corruption and ensure peace and security.”
Without naming any specific leader or party, Minister Aryal appeared to be addressing political leaders, urging them not to create confusion. He added that the government would work in coordination with citizens while investigating corruption cases.
