Nepali Army wins gold medal in Exercise Cambrian Patrol in UK

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Oct. 13: The Nepali Army has won a gold medal with the highest score in the ‘Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2025’ held in Brecon, Wales, United Kingdom, from October 9 to 11.

A total of 117 teams from 33 countries, including the United Kingdom, participated in the exercise. 

According to a press note issued by the Directorate of Public Relations and Information for the Army Headquarters on Sunday, this international-level competition has been conducted annually since 1960, and the Nepali Army has been participating in it since 2014.

During the two-day exercise, participating teams were tested on various military skills, including preparation, information gathering, and casualty management, while covering a 50-kilometre distance carrying weapons and around 50 pounds of equipment and supplies.

With this win, the Nepali Army has now secured gold medals in the competition in 2017, 2019, and 2024 as well.
