Two poets honoured in Syangja

By Our Correspondent,Syangja, Oct.7: The Ananda Ashram Gyan Kendra has honoured two literary figures with the Ananda Ashram Pragya Award on Monday. 

The recognition was announced during a literary gathering and the organisation’s third general assembly. Poet Poshraj Paudel and Chintu Giri were the recipients of the award.

Paudel, originally from Pokhara Metropolitan City–19 and currently residing in Chitwan and Giri from Putalibazar Municipality–14, were recognised for their long-standing contributions to literature.

Progressive literary figure Chakra Bahadur Parajuli honoured them with a certificate of recognition and by wraping shawls. 

During the event, the organisation’s founding patron and former minister, Trilochan Dhakal, shed light on the literary journeys of the honoured poets.
