16 bodies sent to Teaching Hospital for post-mortem

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept.9: The bodies of 16 people who died in the Gen Z protest in various parts of the country on Monday have been sent to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) for post-mortem. 

Chief of the Forensic Department of the Hospital Dr Gopal Chaudhary, said that 16 people have been brought to the hospital for hospital.

He said, “The Process of bringing bodies is underway. So far, 16 bodies have been brought to the hospital.”

The process of post-mortem will not begin until the police administration where the incident took place provides a letter to conduct the post-mortem. 

He says, “The bodies that have arrived so far have been kept in the morgue. The postmortem process will begin only after the letter is received.”

More than 400 people were injured, and 19 people died during the Gen Z demonstration on Monday.
