Former Gandaki Province Chief Gurung passes away

By Basanta Parajuli, Narayanghat, July 26: Former Gandaki Province Chief Prithvi Man Gurung passed away at the age of 76. He succumbed to cancer on Saturday morning. 

Nepali Congress Chitwan Chairperson Rajeshwor Khanal informed that he died at his residence. 

Gurung was born in 2006 B.S in Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality, Lwanghale.  

His funeral will be carried out at Bevghat on Sunday after the return of his son from Canada, according to Congress leader Dalbahadur Gurung. His wife and son will pay his last rite.
