President administers oath to newly-appointed Education Minister Panta

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 24: President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Panta.

Minister Panta took the oath of office at a ceremony organised at the Office of the President on Thursday.    

President Paudel appointed Panta as Education Minister on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday.

On the occasion, along with President Paudel, Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, NA Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, constitutional bodies chiefs among others, were present.

After the resignation of Bidya Bhattarai on April 21, the post was vacant.
