Kathmandu, April 23: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has drawn the attention of the government to the need of meeting the justified demands of teachers through prompt passage of the School Education Bill.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters in Parisdanda today, party vice-chair and spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota demanded creating an environment to bring the agitating teachers back to school by passing the Education Bill at the beginning of the upcoming parliament session.
The Maoist Centre has drawn the attention of the government to meet the legitimate demands by holding talks with the agitating parties including microfinance victims, cooperative victims, employees and doctors immediately.
Likewise, the main opposition party has urged the government to focus the present government's attention towards good governance, curbing corruption, taking into account the public sentiment.(RSS)
