Kathmandu, April 22: Prime Minister and CPN (UML) chair KP Sharma Oli said that the unswerving commitment and activeness of leadership towards national aspiration of development and good governance has strengthened the movement and the party.
"UML has been established as a prime force despite attacks from several fronts".
In his address to a programme organized here today to mark the 76th establishment day of the Communist Party of Nepal, UML chair Oli further said the leadership was perpetually working to consolidate the movement and make UML the popular party among the people.
"We want to empower the people and the government. We are bringing a new budget and policy to support the aspiration", the Prime Minister urged the people not to get in a dilemma about the present political systems. "Even the so-called new force has orchestrated drama. So, let us engage our efforts for nation building with justice and equality", Oli added.
On a different note, he said there was no need for anyone to worry about his age and health. He clarified that he was neither old nor unhealthy now.
"Some people are worrying about my age and health. Now I am not ill. I will be old only after 20-25 years. Hasty move does not work. If anyone has imagined UML without KP Oli it will not be realized", PM Oli said, adding his party would resurge its strengths in next election and emerge as a decisive national political force.
Informing that he had a constructive conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in course of his recent visit to Thailand, PM Oli clarified that Nepal does not have enmity with any nation and has friendly relations with all.(RSS)
