PM Oli honours six senior communist leaders

Kathmandu, April 22: Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli today honoured six senior leaders with the 'Communist Fighter Honour' on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the establishment of Nepal Communist Party.     

The party leaders feted on the occasion are Ratna Prasad Neupane (posthumously), Lal Bahadur Bishwakarma (Kanchanpur), Bachaspati Devkota (Gorkha), Shanta Manavi (Kathmandu), Satya Narayan Mandal (Saptari), Shobharam Basnet (Dang) and Haricharan Shiwakoti (Jhapa).     

A book entitled 'Shelter', featuring experiences and struggles of party leaders who had been underground during the Panchayat system, was launched on the occasion.(RSS)
