By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr.22: The National Examination Board (NEB) has confirmed that the Grade 12 examinations will be held as scheduled, starting April 24, despite rising concerns due to the prolonged teachers’ protest.
Chairman of the National Examination Board (NEB) Dr Mahashram Sharma said that the board has decided to conduct the exam on the scheduled time and date.
It has urged schools with Grade 12 examination centers to conduct the examination by coordinating with the Examination Coordination Committees of all districts.
Speaking at the press conference after the meeting, Chairman Sharma said that the meeting has decided to request schools that have examination centers to conduct the examinations on time.
He said, "The meeting decided to urge all schools holding examination centers to prepare for papers promptly by coordinating with Examination Coordination Committees of all districts. Since 550,000 students are scheduled to take the exam so conducting the examination promptly needs to be taken seriously."
