PM Oli pays tributes to senior journalist Koirala

Kathmandu, March 31: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has paid tributes to former Ambassador and senior journalist Kamal Koirala.     

PM Oli paid tributes to Koirala at the party office of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) at Aloknagar on Monday. Koirala, 87, passed away on Sunday and his body has been kept at the party office for paying last respects. He was also a CPN (Unified Socialist) politburo member.     

His final rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today itself, according to the party.     

Koirala, who was also a journalist, writer and diplomat, died while undergoing treatment at the hospital after suffering from paralysis. (RSS)
