Hearing on writ petition filed by Ghishing is underway

Kathmandu, Mar.28: The hearing of the writ petition filed by Kulman Ghishing, the former executive director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is underway. 

The hearing on the writ petition is underway in a single bench of Supreme Court Justice Abdul Aziz Musalman, on Friday. 

 In the writ petition filed by Ghising, the court has sought to revoke the decision and reinstate him, saying he was illegally removed from office.

According to the list of cases made public by the Supreme Court, Ghishing's petition is in the second place. 

Similarly, the writ petition of the newly appointed Executive Director of the NEA, Hitendra Dev Shakya, is also scheduled to be heard today.

The writ petition of the current MD of NEA Shakya will be held by a single bench of Judge Musalman as well.  It is fifth in the list.
