Five players selected to compete in WAKO Kickboxing

Kathmandu, March 25: The National Kickboxing Association Nepal has selected five players to participate in the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) Kickboxing World Cup.     

Four male and one female players have been selected from the selection tournament held at Dasharath Stadium on Monday.     

The selected male players include Asik Koli of Sudurpaschim Province under the 57 kg, Sagar Darji of Bagmati Province under the 67 kg, Sunim Shrestha of Bagmati under the 69 kg and Koshish Shrestha of Bagmati under the 71 kg weight category.     

Similarly, Sanju Sumba Tamang of Bagmati will compete in the women's under-51 kg category.     

The closed training of the selected players has kicked off from today. The 1st WAKO World Cup is being held in Bangkok, Thailand from April 7-12, 2025.(RSS)
