BY A STAFF REPORTER,Brisbane, Mar. 17: The Nepathya band performed a concert in Brisbane, Australia.

As in other cities, the concert began with the song ‘Koshi Ko Pani.’ In between songs, lead singer Amrit Gurung shared his thoughts, urging the audience to continue the Nepali tradition of facing any crisis together, promoting humanity and the spirit of cooperation.

The band performed several of their evergreen songs like ‘Chhekyo Chhekyo,’ ‘Aanganai Bhari’ and others. During the show held on Friday, lead singer Gurung paid tribute to the late writer Lil Bahadur Kshetri, who passed away on Friday. He said, “We Nepalis will never forget Kshetri, who wrote the immortal story of those who leave their hometowns and settle elsewhere. I dedicate this song to him today.”

Santosh Kunwar, a local organiser, said, “It always feels great to see the audience enjoying. The event went better than we expected.”

The 14-member team, including Amrit on vocals, Dhruva Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on madal and Dineshraj Regmi on keyboard, performed on the stage.
