Children's literary books distributed

By Our Correspondent,Syangja, Mar. 17: The Social Development Office of Syangja has distributed children's literature books in Aandhikhola Rural Municipality.

A total of 42 children’s literature books from various genres were distributed to Aandhikhola School, located in Ward-5, Jugle.

According to the head of the office, Jiban Poudel, the distribution of children's literature books aims to encourage children from an early age to serve their homeland, as such books contribute to their development.

Poudel emphasised that children’s literature plays a crucial role in fostering a habit of joyful reading in school, promoting social harmony, cultural values, appreciation for nature, respect for labour, self-confidence, and positive transformation in various aspects of life.

During the programme, Principal Smriti Kafle expressed confidence that books covering various genres such as children’s songs, stories, poetry, plays, novels, and ghazals, as well as life-skill-oriented literature, would help children enhance their language skills, creativity, moral values, and discipline.

The Social Development Office of Syangja which has been distributing children’s literature books since past has announced its commitment to continuing this campaign.
