Export-Import Bill tabled before parliament

Kathmandu, Feb 11: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari tabled the ‘Export-Import (Regulation) Bill, 2081 BS’ in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.     

On the occasion, Minister Bhandari said that the bill had to be introduced to make export-import management more systematic and transparent along with the new concepts in foreign trade and to further facilitate export and import-related works.     

The bill is aimed at bringing timely amendments to and integrate the prevailing laws related to export and import, thereby support the economic development of the country.(RSS)
