Snowfall in Humla

Humla (Simkot), Jan 16: Simkot, the district headquarters of Humla, is witnessing snowfall on Thursday.
Snowfall has been taking place in high-altitude areas of the district including Namkha rural municipality since this morning.
Around one inch of snow is piled up at Simkot and all wards of Namkha rural municipality are witnessing the snowfall, said the ward chairperson of Namkha rural municipality-6, Palzor Tamang.
Similarly, heavy snowfall is now taking place in high mountainous regions—Nyalu, Nara and Lapcha areas. The district experienced snowfall on November 26 for the first time this year. (RSS)
